Yellowstone Path l

Today is Mother's day.  I send out my happy Mother's day wishes!  I'm going to post some ealier paintings as I will not be able to paint for another week. Today is from Yellowstone.

Cow Oasis

This is a painting I did from sketches and memory to fill in the blanks.  I know that's hard to understand, but color is what filled in the blanks.  I love color.  I have much to do today including tossing Cooper's tennis ball to him right now!

Rubber Ducky

It's raining out again, dark and dismal.  So today I offer my rubber ducky painting for those who like me, are sick of the rain.  The model is part of a set of tubby toys I purchased years ago for my granddaughter when she was a toddler.  Now she's at the age where she'd never admit the ducky was once part of her nightly bath routine. This rubber ducky is very small, about 1.5" long and in height.  After several years of inspiring bubbles, splashes and squeals, she now is retired.
