Today is the 4th of July where we celebrate our nation's freedom from England. The weather is perfect outside and I'm inside. I don't have a good excuse but the excuse for today is the same since the middle of May: The Casey Anthony Trial. As this trial was wrapping up, I wondered how I would flip back to my "normal" routine. I haven't made any new paintings in over two weeks. Yesterday, I starting sketching again. I love to sketch my Mini-Schnauzer, Cooper and today came a few more entries. As today has unfolded, I feel ready to get back to my routine, to my studio to make art. In the meantime, I offer another sketch of Cooper.
