This poor little fellow took second billing to the super bowl yesterday.  But he does have his fan club that gather every February 2 in Punxsutawney, PA.  All of Punxsutawney and the rest of us hoping he'll not see his shadow, but alas! he did and so the scroll was read aloud...6 more weeks of winter.

I knew that today, I would be painting Phil and so I donned my smock and set up a fresh palette.  It was pure pleasure painting such a cutie  At about 2 PM I was all set to post and wow I was on cloud nine...But I ran into nothing but problems with uploading.  So I finally spied the Google Chrome icon and clicked on it.  Whew it worked.  Microsoft Windows 8 is adding so much frustration and stress to this artist's life.
