Adirondack V

"Adirondack V", 6 x 6 inches, Oil on Panel Another Adirondack inspiration painting.  I'm really loving the combination of lake waters, assorted rocks and the backdrop of evergreens. On another note, I'll be participating in the 6th annual Billsboro Winery Plein Air Festival.  This is a 4 day event that features artists who come from pretty far away.  In case you don't know, Billsboro Winery  is quite involved in supporting the arts and oh yeah...Vincent Aliperti makes great wine!  I always look forward to this event.

Harrisville View

Harrisville View, 6 x 6 inch cradled gessoboard Sold - Thank you Lucky me, I have relatives in Tupper Lake NY of the breathtaking Adirondacks.  Lucky me, my cousin opened his home and camp to host a bunch of us crazy family members for a reunion!  A wonderful time and I took pictures...not so much family but scenes to paint. This painting is the first in a series that I plan to paint from the beautiful Adirondacks.

Rocky Path

6 x 6 inches, Oil on Board Another migraine headache today, but I managed to paint this piece.  It is my interpretation of a photograph that my daughter took recently while she was on vacation.    This painting session was followed by a nice nap with my headache bag and both doggies, Cooper & Cookie.  If you have to have a migraine, having one Mini-Schnauzer and one Schnoodle as your support system is the clear path to feeling better and I am feeling better now and after washing up my brushes, my weekend will start.  Enjoy yours!
