Sea Gull's Close Up 6 x 6 inches, Oil on Board This is my entry for this week's Daily Paintworks challenge.  A photo of a run-around Gull was snapped and posted as the muse.  I'm almost happy with this, I see things that went wrong, but if I want to have something to post, I need to let it lie as it is.  There is so much I want to be able to do with brush and pigment that I cannot do.  But I'm going to keep trying.

Maine Shore Birds 4 x 4 inches, Oil on board   This is a touch up on the original that was painted almost 3 weeks ago.  I noticed the horizon line needed some work, so here is the new and improved piece.  It will also be for auction on www.dailypaintworks.com

Maine Gulls 4 x 4 inches Oil on Board  My daughter sent me beautiful pictures from her recent family vacation in Maine.  These Gulls were included and I had to paint them.  We have so many of them here in the Finger Lakes region of New York.  In the winter, whenever my mom & I go to Arby's, I always order fries to feed the hearty winged souls hanging out in the back of that restaurant.  This painting will be for auction at Daily Paintworks.  Click on the Daily Paintworks gadget on this blog to bid.
