Party Pug & New Year's Day

I am blessed by a visit from my daughter, Amy. We have this thing going where we re-arrange each other's furniture. The best way to do this is when the victim is at work or out an errun. I have my Christmas tree and years of decorations standing guard so she can't attack with this visit...but I know she has plans!

Party Pug is dry, so he started his day getting scanned. He didn't like it anymore than the public likes the airport scanner. But he is happy that just his unforgettable face is the only part that got scanned.

I'm not Roman Catholic but I do have a wonderment about the this process because it's so entwined in mystery. This little watercolor Cardinal was at my bird feeder where he grabbed a sunflower seed and quickly flew to a tree limb to perch and enjoy. After which he waits his turn to return.

Just love these adorable playful creatures. This otter and artist wish all a very safe and happy New Year's eve celebration. I have my wonderful granddaughter visiting and soon we'll be hitting the market to load up a cart full of junk food.
