I have daisies in two different flower beds on my property.  I also have more than one area with raspberries, both black and red.  So for the past few days after supper, I've been outside picking, watering, weeding and cutting. 

 For today's painting, I decided to return to the garden and clip a few very fresh daisies.  I've been experimenting with painting bees and decided to add one to this piece.  What is left for today is studio cleanup and then order dinner-in from our favorite Italian takeout.

I paint with a very limited palette, so I was challenged to come up with the right mixtures.  But it wasn't very long before I realized that mixing the right "Indigo" color wouldn't be enough.  So I subdued everything else, to include his cute little beak.

Business & Art Law take two 6 x 6 inches, oil on board http://www.dailypaintworks.com/fineart/brande-arno/business-and-art-law-take-two/77676    Something got into me with respect to my first attempt at painting these two books,  That post is just below this one.  Everything is the same EXCEPT that I scraped off the painting yesterday because I didn't like the out-come. Someone else did like it and asked about buying it.  So I repainted it today.  I was going to repaint it anyway.
